Apple iPad Pro 2017 Specs and Features: Next Tablet Could Have 10.5-Inch Display and A10X Chipset
Nens MitchellApple's iPad Pro 2 is one of the most anticipated devices for 2017 and fans could just see a 10.5-inch version of the tablet. The next installment also hopes to introduce new changes for the Apple device.
New size variant
According to MacWorld, reports speculate that the iPad Pro 2 will be unveiled next month. Aside from the usual 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch offering from Apple, it was also indicated that a 10.5-inch variant could also be launched for the 2017 release.
The device could also be released along with an Apple Pencil 2 and a foldable design to allow users to easily carry it anywhere they go. It was added in the same report that a folding iPad would make sense since Apple is trying to introduce new and unique technologies for its devices.
Design and chipset
Aside from this, the brand is also expected to maximize its screen and do away with bezels for the iPad Pro 2. This will provide a better user experience for all buyers of the next Apple tablet.
Trusted Reviews also highlighted that there is a big possibility Apple could remove the Home button on the 2017 iPad Pro release. The tablet is also expected to use new A10X chips to make the device respond faster when it comes to applications and other processes.
What iOS version will run the iPad Pro 2?
In terms of software, the iPad Pro 2 could either have the iOS 10 or the upcoming iOS 11 run its system. Analysts say it would all depend on the timing of the release of the device if it will come after the unveiling of the new iOS version.
The iOS 10, which came with the new iPhone releases last year, had changes on the lock screen and the 3D touch settings of the Apple device. It also added new emojis and a revamped Maps interface.
