"Star Wars: Battlefront 3" found its way to bring its assets into life. With the help of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" new mod, players can now experience the unused assets of the game.

The new mod of the "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" game will be called the "Star Wars Battlefront 3 Legacy." "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" was under the development of Free Radical before it was cancelled. The game got developed before DICE started working on the reboot of "Star Wars Battlefront."

"Battlefront 3" was already rumored to be underway despite the fact that LucasArts never confirmed the game. Free Radical Design's co-founder even said that "Star Wars Battlefront 3" game was almost done before it was officially cancelled. There are also many alleged reasons why "Star Wars Battlefront 3" was cancelled back in 2008, but according to Tech Times, Pandemic Studio's unexpected closure "stopped the Battlefront franchise on its tracks."

The new "Star Wars Battlefront 3 Legacy" mod was made by various fans of the game series to bring the unused assets of the unreleased game sequel to the current version, "Star Wars: Battlefront 2." These assets are the characters, troopers, ships and other iconic things found in "Battlefront 3."
