"Forza Horizon 3" car lineup will expand this week as Microsoft announced the release of the Playseat Car Pack DLC today, Feb. 7. The pack will add seven different cars to the open-world racing game set in Australia.

The fantastic range of new vehicles in the pack will all be compatible with the previous "Forza Horizon 3" Blizzard Mountain expansion. Thus, players do not have to worry about compatibility issue. In any case, the new Playseat Car Pack will add new vehicles and the list starts with one of the Aussie racing legend Pete Brock's favorite cars. As posted by GameSpot, the pack will include the following:

1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A which is describe as a collectible version of an Aussie touring automobile and it called the "Blue Meanie". The 1990 Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans is another addition and it boasts of twin-turbocharged Alpine that can keep up with newer car models.

The oldest in the lineup of the "Forza Horizon 3" DLC pack is the 1970 Honda S800A. It is small and low-powered sports car but this underdog can keep up with the modern models as well.

The remaining four new vehicles included in the "Forza Horizon 3" Playseat Car Pack DLC are the 2017 Aston Martin DB11, 2016 Vauxhall Corsa VXR, 2016 Cadillac ATS-V and the 2016 Honda Civic Type R. The Playseat Car Pack is available for separate purchase or part of the FH3 Ultimate edition.

"Forza Horizon 3" Playseat Car Pack is now available for download on Windows 10 and Xbox One. It can be purchased for the price of $6.99.

Meanwhile, Windows Central reported that game developer, Playground Games, is planning to open a new studio that will create non-racing game titles. Until now, the company only created three "Forza Horizon" games, in partnership with Microsoft.

According to Playground Games founder Ralph Fulton, the venture will give them the chance to explore other game genre. He added that this is not a rush decision and explained that they have been discussing this plan for a few years now.
