In January 2017, Nintendo revealed a lot of details of the upcoming Switch console. After the event, fans were expecting that the Nintendo Switch will have a launch by mid-March. However, recent reports reveal that Nintendo will be releasing the Switch on March 3, 2017.

Retailers In US Open Pre-Order Offers For the Switch

The Nintendo Switch console will be sold at the cost of $299.99. Popular US retailers, Amazon, Target, Best Buy and GameStop opened their pre-orders already for the console. Various products such as the console accessories, bundles, and game titles have been opened for offers in all the four stores, as reported by Slashgear.

The Launch Title For The Switch

Recent reports reveal that the "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has been confirmed as the launch title for the console. Later in the year, users will also be able to get prominent first-party game titles such as the Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2.

A number of third-party game makers have also offered to bring their titles to the Switch. It is notable that Bethesda earlier announced about bringing Skyrim and Sega on the Switch, as reported by The Verge.

However, the release date for the above-mentioned titles is yet to be determined.

In terms of specs, the Nintendo Switch will be a hybrid console with a special 6.2-inch display running at a 720p resolution. It also has a dock that converts the portable switch to a home console. The console will support HDMI output at up to 1080p resolution. It also sports two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port as well as an AC adaptor port. The console is loaded with a 32 GB Built -in expandable storage. It comes with accessories such as the pro-controller, Joy Con Controller.
