LG Watch Sport vs Moto 360 2nd Gen Specs and Features: Stainless Steel Design and Waterproof Body Introduced in Smartwatches
Nens MitchellSmartwatch fans have a new gadget to explore with the release of the LG Watch Sport. Many are wondering how this new introduction will fair when compared to the Moto 360 2nd gen.
Size and build
New Atlas reported that LG Watch Sport look bigger than the Moto 360 with the latter being sold in two size variants: 42 mm and 46 mm. Also, the LG Watch Sport sports a stainless steel body but the part which is in direct contact to the user's skin is plastic. On the other hand, the Moto 360's body is all made of steel.
LG's smartwatch also has a fixed elastomer band while the Moto 360 has both leather band and stainless steel variants which can be easily interchanged when using the smartwatch. The display of the Moto 360 is also bigger compared to that of the LG Watch Sport.
Screen quality and waterproof feature
In terms of display quality, the LG Watch Sport has a better resolution between the two smartwatches. On the other hand, the Moto 360 has an "always on" display option for the users.
According to MobilesMSPK, the LG Watch Sport is waterproof for a depth of around 1.5 meters and could last submerged for around 30 minutes. The Moto 360 2nd gen is not waterproof but offers a water resistant feature of up to 1 meter for half an hour.
Other highlights
Both have quadcore CPUs and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. In addition, the LG Watch Sport comes with voice dial/commands as well as a photo viewer. Meanwhile, the Moto 360 2nd gen boasts a wireless charging capability and also voice commands and dials.
