‘Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’ For Switch Will Have a First-Person Mode; High Resolution Gallery; Violent Ken & Evil Ryu Out
CJ EstimadaSeveral retailers have started displaying game boxes in Japan, and among these is Capcom's upcoming "Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers." The box renders a couple of significant information about the game. "Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers" is an upcoming fighting game developed by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch platform.
"Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers" Game Details
Last month's debut trailer has officially confirmed an important detail -- "Ultra Street Fighter II" will have a new first-person mode. It's a unique game mode titled "Unleash! Ha'DO'ken" and is specialized for use with the Joy-Con controllers in a first-person view.
The fighting game will feature a mix of old-school, 16-bit era graphics and revamped artwork, which was formerly featured in "Super Street Fighter II" Turbo HD Remix. The game will also include two newly playable characters: Violent Ken and Evil Ryu.
First-Person Mode Screenshot
According to Nintendo Everything, a screenshot on the box has a timer and seems to show multiple Shadaloo Soldiers. This is speculation, but perhaps it's a mode in which a player holds the Joy-Con and literally shoots hadoken, sort of like a rail shooter. The game cover likewise illustrates that "Ultra Street Fighter II" will have some kind of art gallery in which players can view over 250 pages of artwork.
Finally, MT Framework engine's logo is on the box. It does appear that Capcom's mainstream engine is capable of making Switch software. However, a screenshot of the first-person mode presents a timer at the top of the screen, while at the bottom of the screen is a score bar. A number of fighters, including M. Bison can be seen on screen at once, reports Gematsu.
Moreover, Capcom hasn't set a release date so far. New details on the game's progress will be posted. It will be offered for Switch when it unveils.
