'Overwatch' Competitive Play Season 3 End Date Announced; Rewards; Skill Rating & Season 4 Details
Keisuke Akio"Overwatch" Competitive Play Season 3 end date has been announced. In addition, details about the rewards, skill ratings and the upcoming Season 4 are finally revealed.
Date and Times
According to Blizzard, "Overwatch" Competitive Play Season 3 will officially end on Tuesday, February 21. It will conclude at 4:00 p.m. PST or Wednesday, February 22 at 00:00 UTC.
Rewards
Players who have completed their placement matches during "Overwatch" Competitive Play Season 3 will be eligible to receive a special spray and player icon. These rewards will be automatically unlocked upon logging in to your account for the first time after the season ends.
Players who have managed to break into the Top 500 players on their platforms and in their regions will receive an extra player icon and animated spray, aside from other seasonal rewards. In addition, you will also get a number of Competitive Points based on the maximum skill rating you gained during "Overwatch" Competitive Play Season 3.
Skill Rating
Players who achieved a Skill Rating (SR) of between 1 and 1499 (Bronze) in "Overwatch" Season 3 will get the equivalent of 100 Competitive Points (CP). Those who have acquired ST between 1500 and 1999 (Silver) will get the equivalent of 200 CP. Gold, or those who gained between 2000 and 2499 SR, will have a 400 CP. Platinum achievers who have gained between 2500 and 2999 SR will get 800 CP.
Diamond achievers who gained between 3000 and 3499 Skill Rating (SR) in "Overwatch" Season 3 will get 1200 Competitive Point (CP). Master achievers, or those who have earned SR between 3500 and 3999, will get 2000 CP. Finally, Grandmaster achievers, or those who have gained SR between 4000 and 5000, will have 3000 CP.
Season 4
"Overwatch" Season 4 is anticipated to enable players to experience a new set of favored picks and gameplay meta. Season 4 is set to kick off on February 28 at 4:00 p.m. PST or March 01 at 00:00 UTC.
