[VIDEO] Coldplay, The Chainsmokers New Single: ‘Something Just Like This' Launches And It’s Real Good Music

Coldplay and The Chainsmokers surprised the audience of 2017 BRIT Awards with the debut of "Something Just Like This." As expected, the music sounds real good with a mix of Coldplay's instrumental rock genre and The Chainsmokers' electronic beat. A report by TIME pointed out that it will surely perform well on music charts, delighting fans of each band.
The song can be played in the video below from the official YouTube channel of The Chainsmokers. As per the music video description, "Something Just Like This" will be part of The Chainsmokers' album "Memories... Do Not Open" that will release on April 7. Meanwhile, Coldplay's lead singer Martin took part in the 2017 BRIT Awards tribute for the "Careless Whisper" singer Michael. Martin sang Michael's 1986 single "A Different Corner" as the screen flashes several footages of the late song artist. Michael then took over in singing "A Different Corner" in the screen behind Coldplay's Martin leading to the conclusion of the tribute.
Apart from the song tribute, Michael's Wham! partner Andrew Ridgeley also took the 2017 BRIT Awards stage to remember the Pop Superstar. "On Christmas Day 2016, the greatest singer-songwriter of his generation, an icon of his era, and my beloved friend, George Michael, was lost," Ridgeley said according to a report by Rolling Stone.
