When it comes to "Criminal Minds" fans get a story more focused on the cases rather than the characters to a major extent. But for a while, we saw that the show runners are trying to focus on a certain character in the series little by little. And, that character is Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler). And, the show is known for its case solving mechanics after all. So, major focus will stay on the case with some part of the episodes giving an arc towards the character of Spencer Reid.
