‘Fallout’ & ‘The Elder Scrolls’ Developer Bethesda Game Studios Working on Seven Games [VIDEO]
Pia MerciBethesda Game Studios, the development team best known for "Fallout" and "Elder Scrolls," has said that it is currently working on seven upcoming titles. Two of those have already been announced before.
Todd Howard, the director of the Maryland-based company, said in an interview with IGN that their in-house development studio at its parent company Bethesda Softworks has seven projects ongoing. Two of the said projects were previously announced for Nintendo Switch: the "Fallout 4 VR" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."
Moreover, a mobile game is also in the works. It follows the success of "Fallout Shelter." It is where players can build and manage their own "Vault" as a supervisor. It is likely understandable that Bethesda desires to create and produce another mobile success.
ONLYSP reports that although details of the game's contents and title have not been unveiled, the likeliest candidate is "The Elder Scrolls: Legends," which is said to be a collectible card game and will be playable on Android, iOS, and OS X. More importantly, an official release date has not been announced as of yet.
Further speculations and guesses would be, unfortunately, hard to make. However, it is worth noting that Todd mentioned in E3 2016 that Bethesda Game Studios is working on three major projects. These projects are reportedly bigger than everything that the developer has ever made before. One of which is said to be "The Elder Scrolls VI," but that title appears to be still not happening soon.
Moreover, the next chapter in "The Elder Scrolls" series may possibly be delayed further, given the recent release of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" special edition. As long as there are no official announcements from Bethesda themselves, details about "The Elder Scrolls VI" are considered to be merely rumors. The most recent release of Bethesda Game Studios is an action-adventure stealth video game titled "Dishonored 2." It hit the shelves in November 11, 2016.
