Cupertino based tech giant Apple is teasing to reinvent wearable tech for the Watch 3. Allegedly, the smartwatch could come with a SIM card slot and built-in 4G LTE connectivity.

According to Trusted Reviews, the next upcoming Watch variant will be like no other. Tech analyst Christopher Rolland claims that the smartwatch will offer standalone mobile connectivity. He also added that it will pack a more advanced processor to boot the system.

Rolland unveiled the claims after discussions with Asian tech firms and suppliers. Allegedly, he said that the improved chip will base on the IoT-optimised Cat M1 module. Apple's Watch 3 could also add Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to make calls in the absence of a cell network.

Aside from his bold claims for the Apple's Watch 3, the tipster also revealed details for the iPhone 8. In a post by blog Barron, Rolland claimed that the iPhone will introduce wireless inductive charging. He also noted that the phone will debut with a USB-C/Lightning hybrid charging port as soon as 2018.

In the same blog post, he believes that there will also be three new iPhone models. Rolland claimed that Apple will unveil a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 7S with a 5.8-inch OLED iPhone 8. The new iPhone variants could launch in September, Apple's traditional launch month.

In other news, the iPhone 8 will reportedly have a new radical camera when it releases this year. According to Forbes, Apple's phone could equip 3D sensing components this year.

The tech giant may launch the 3D sensing augmented reality selfie camera in September. That is if the company will be following its traditional release month.

The Barron report alleges that Himax Technologies might produce the new camera components. Charlie Chan of Morgan Stanley believes that it could be possible. Apple has not released an official statement about the matter, stay tuned.
