The new HTC flagship phone might lesser features than what other previous phones in its U series. This can be said as one of the not-so-great-times of the company's business at eliminating some phone features would not mitigate the issue.

The new flagship smartphone of HTC is bound to be released during the second half of this year. This release is expected to give new hope for the company but seeing these kinds of renders, it would not be of help, says Wccftech.

The Taiwanese tech giant might be considering using new materials, according to the latest image of the new HTC U. The phone's physical look is not only the questionable thing but as well as the features inside it.

Having the glass back, lack of headphone jack, and single rear-facing camera, surely showed that the upcoming HTC phone have taken several HTC U Ultra's attributes. This leaked information was from the Slashleaks. HTC U series fans would just hope that the upcoming phone which is powered by a Snapdragon 835 will be released with a headphone jack if not, it might just bring another problem to the company for the rest of the year. The HTC U Ultra, according to Engadget, costs $749 dollars, which is a bit nonsensical for its features. If these features will be taken out for the upcoming flagship phone, its price will no longer be justified. It will just look elegant because of the gorgeous glass and metal chassis.

The upcoming HTC U flagship phone will have a QHD resolution and it seems like HTC is not going to change to OLED, as for the moment. The same durability is expected to the new phone as what is the HTC 10 was known or maybe score a higher durability rating than before.

One of the most important things that are expected for the upcoming HTC U flagship phone is a battery with a decent-sized capacity. Having a 3,400mAh-3,500mAh would be enough for the phone to have. When it comes to the materials of the phone's body, there is still no final information if the company will use metal and glass body or will be the same as the HTC 10 with a complete aluminum shell
