As the International CES and the Mobile World Congress (MWC) of this year are already over, tech buffs have started talking about the upcoming Google I/O. However, many people forget about one event, IFA that paves the way for some good devices.
This year's IFA, to be held in Berlin from Sept. 6 to 11, is rumored to be the launching event for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 along with Samsung's Galaxy Note 3.
According to a SamMobile report, the launch of these two devices at the IFA Berlin is almost confirmed.
"Our insider even reported that Samsung may announce the Galaxy Tab 3 in IFA Berlin together with the Galaxy Note III. He couldn't tell anything about the specifications yet but he even reported that Samsung will stop to update the first generation of the Galaxy Tab," SamMobile reports.
No specifications on either device has been seen anywhere so far; however, some rumored leaks suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a 5.9-inch SuperAMOLED display and will be powered by Samsung's latest and most powerful Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor.
The biggest point we can find about these two devices in the recent rumors is the operating system (OS). Many rumors say that both Galaxy Tab 3 and the Galaxy Note 3 will be running the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie out of the box.
The rumors make sense, as many of the Samsung Galaxy devices have the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update. Samsung's recently launched Samsung Galaxy S4 also runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Samsung is already rumored to be discontinuing Android updates for a list of Galaxy devices. The devices will see Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update as their last Android update and the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be rolled out for a select bunch of Galaxy devices.
The Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is rumored to be launched during the Google I/O, which will be held in San Francisco in May.
