We know that a new series of Samsung smartphones are on their way and the name of the upcoming devices have also been declared by the company.
However, when Samsung released the updated version of the WatchOn application, the change log of the updated application mentioned an unconfirmed device called Galaxy S4 Mega.
Other devices mentioned in the change log are Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy S4 Active, which have already been confirmed by Samsung, but we are yet to hear anything official about the Galaxy S4 Mega.
It can also be a typo and there should have been the mention of Galaxy Mega instead of Galaxy S4 Mega in the change log, but it may be possible that Samsung is working on something bigger than the Galaxy Mega.
The company is already working on three devices containing 'S4' in their names and one of them is going to be a camera smartphone.
The Galaxy S4 Mini, the Galaxy S4 Active and the Galaxy S4 Zoom are the three devices that are to come out with 'S4' in their name (if you don't include the Galaxy S4 Mega). The Galaxy S4 Mini is going to be the smaller version of the Galaxy S4 smartphone, whereas the Galaxy S4 Zoom is going to be a camera smartphone with 16-megapixel sensor like of the Galaxy Camera.
The Galaxy S4 Active is reportedly another version of the Galaxy S4 smartphone. The only difference between the original Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S4 Active is that the latter will receive protection from water and dust.
Samsung updated the WatchOn application to version 5.0.4 that comes with the following change log.
- Activity-based control pad
- Better notification widget
- Better lock screen widget
- Fixed many UI layout issues
- Fixed streaming media player issues
- Better google tv support
- Cleaner device setup flow
- Improved TV/AV Receiver input setup
- Added support for upcoming S4 Mega, S4 mini and S4 Active
