It seems that the release of Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 is nearing as rumors related to the upcoming phablet are gaining momentum. Just a day after a leaked picture of an alleged prototype of the Galaxy Note 3 surfaced, another picture of the smartphone was found on the Internet.
Four images of the Galaxy Note 3 prototype were posted by SamMobile and TechTastic, and now another photo has emerged, courtesy a site called GforGames.
In the latest photo, the device is shown flanked by a Nokia's small budget bar phone and another Samsung smartphone. The smartphone in focus seems to have a display somewhere about 6 inches with a very thin bezel.
The design of the device doesn't look at all to be following Samsung's ongoing trend of curved edges and looks very flat and clunky. However, it might just be the hardware of the Galaxy Note 3 stuffed into some other case for carrier trial.
The device in the photo looks very similar to the one found in photos released by SamMobile and TechTastic a day ago.
SamMobile posted four pictures in collaboration with TechTastic and said the photos are of the Galaxy Note 3 prototype that is expected to be released during this year's IFA Berlin. Samsung had released the Galaxy Note 2 at the IFA Berlin last year.
The Home button of the device looks very similar to the Home button of the Galaxy Note 2, while the screen of the phablet looks to have a thinner bezel than its predecessor. The display is full HD and the size looks somewhere around 6 inches.
According to SamMobile, the device shown in the photos is a prototype and not the fully ready Galaxy Note 3. The publication also could not confirm anything related to the exclusive S Pen feature of the Galaxy Note series.
The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to be coming with 5.99 inch screen with full HD 1920x1080 resolution Super AMOLED display. The smartphone will be powered by the eight-core Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor. Samsung may launch the Galaxy Note 3 in two versions just like it did with Galaxy S4.
The phone's functions will be supported by a hefty 3 GB of RAM and users will be able to store a lot in the device, as it is said to have 32 GB of internal memory with a microSD slot support.
When it comes to camera, rumors suggest that the phablet will sport a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.
