The new LG G2 has launched on various U.S. carriers so far, but the Verizon version is now available at a discounted price of $149.99 via Wirefly.
Moreover, the retailer wants to sweeten the deal even further and offers a free $30 Visa gift card to any customer willing to port their number.
The LG G2 is the company's latest flagship smartphone and it packs several impressive specs and features. Aside from the high-end specifications, the LG G2 sets itself apart from rivals by sporting a unique "Rear Key Concept," as the company calls it.
This innovative feature relocates the keys that are usually on the sides of a device, placing them on the back of the LG G2. According to the company, this allows for a better grip, increased stability and allows users to more easily operate the large smartphone without having to use both hands.
Verizon is currently selling the LG G2 with a $199.99 price tag on the standard two-year contract, but retailers are apparently starting to undercut the carrier's offer. After Amazon started offering the smartphone for $149.99, $50 less than Verizon's asking price, Wirefly joins the party and offers the same $149.99 price tag. It's worth noting, however that Amazon's deal doesn't come with a gift card bonus, whereas Wirefly is offering the aforementioned $30 Visa gift card for shifting customers.
For those unfamiliar with the device, the new LG G2 packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and sports an full HD 1920 x 1080 LCD screen with ultra-thin bezels to maximize the viewing experience.]
Verizon has tweaked its version of the LG G2, altering the design a bit, but the smartphone still has that rear-key setup in place.
The Wirefly deal for the Verizon LG G2 is available for all upgrades and new lines, but only customers willing to port their number in from another carrier will get to benefit from the $30 Visa gift card. The retailer is also throwing in free shipping via FedEx. Check out Wirefly's offer here for more details or to purchase a brand new LG G2 for $149.99.
