The holiday season may be close to an end, but Best Buy still has some great deals on the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.
The lower-specced, plastic-wrapped, colorful iPhone 5C is now available for free in a 16GB configuration from Best Buy when agreeing to sign a two-year contract. If you'd like more storage and would prefer the 32GB model of the iPhone 5C, Best Buy is offering this variant for $79.99 on a two-year contract. The high-end flagship iPhone 5S, meanwhile, is available for $124.99 for the 16GB model (down from the regular $199.99 price tag), $224.99 for the 32GB model and $324.00 for the 64GB variant. All of these offers are available with a two-year contract with Verizon Wireless, AT&T, or Sprint.
Best Buy does not mention for how long these prices will be available, but the promotion will likely expire shortly, as the holidays are almost over. Apple smartphones and tablets have always been very popular during the holidays, and the company's latest iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are expected to rack up some nice sales figures by the end of the year.
The iPhone 5C comes as a more affordable smartphone offering, and it is available in a colorful array of choices. The forward-thinking iPhone 5S, meanwhile, is the company's new flagship and boasts high-end specs and features, including a Touch ID fingerprint scanner for additional security.
The iPhone 5S packs a 63-bit A7 processor, a 4-inch Retina display, and runs iOS 7 out of the box, just to name some of its highlights. The iPhone 5C offers similar specs as last year's iPhone 5, but packs them in a colorful polycarbonate design.
The iPhone 5C has not been as popular as its higher-specced sibling, but Best Buy's new offer may boost sales of the smartphone. If you're interested in getting the cheerful iPhone 5C for free when signing a two-year contract, head over to Best Buy here. If the iPhone 5S is more suitable to your needs and preferences, visit the retailer's product page for the smartphone at this link. As previously mentioned, the offer applies to the iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S on-contract with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint.
