Samsung has confirmed the imminent launch of its new Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro tablets through a banner displayed for CES 2014.
After many leaks, rumors and reports hinting at new Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab models with the "Pro" moniker, a huge banner displayed outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where CES 2014 takes place, now confirms the devices' existence and imminent debut.
The banner has "Galaxy Note Pro" written in a larger font, with the mention "Tab Pro also available" written underneath. While it doesn't list a specific screen size for the Galaxy Note Pro, previous reports and FCC filings point to a large 12.2-inch display for the tablet.
Famous and trusted tipster @evleaks has posted specifications for both the Galaxy Note Pro and the Galaxy Tab Pro on Monday, Jan. 6. According to the tipster, the Galaxy Tab Pro will come in three screen sizes: 8.4-inch, 10.1-inch, and 12.2-inch. Here are the specs for each model, as posted by @evleaks:
Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2-inch with S-Pen
Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 12.2-inch
Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 10.1-inch
Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 8.4-inch
Evleaks has also posted images for all three Galaxy Tab Pro models, i.e. the 8.4-inch model, the 10.1-inch version, and the 12.2-inch variant, as well as an image of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.
Samsung has a press event scheduled for Monday, Jan. 6, at 2PM PST, where it is expected to take the wraps off its new Pro line of tablets. We'll keep an eye out at CES and bring you up to date as soon as more information becomes available.
