The much-touted Oppo Find 7 will reportedly make its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 and sport a decent price tag for its top-notch specs.
Oppo has repeatedly teased its upcoming Find 7 powerhouse, but little is officially confirmed about the device other than the fact that it's coming and will boast an impressive 5.5-inch 2K display. The rest of the handset's expected specifications are based purely on leaks and speculation at this point.
Adding to those rumors is a new report from CnBeta, which claims that the Oppo Find 7 will retail for CNY 3,598, which would translate to roughly $595. If this purported price tag proves to be accurate, the Oppo Find 7 would come at a very attractive price point considering its high-end specifications.
The publication has further detailed several specs and features of the handset, most of which have already been rumored for quite some time now. One of the smartphone's strong points will be the 5.5-inch JDI display panel with a whopping 2K resolution, a pixel density of 538 pixels per inch (ppi) and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for extra scratch-resistance. The display will also feature touch support even while wearing gloves or having your hands wet, Oppo recently touted on its Facebook page.
Other specifications rumored so far include a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM. The Oppo Find 7 is also expected to be 4G LTE-enabled and come with 16GB of internal storage capacity, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter.
Oppo has already confirmed its presence at the MWC 2014 Expo next month in Barcelona, but remember that most of the above-listed specifications of the Oppo Find 7 are still in the rumor state for now. The smartphone is only confirmed to come with a 5.5-inch 2K display, but the rest has yet to be confirmed.
We'll be covering the MWC trade show next month and we'll make sure to keep you up to date, so stay tuned for more information as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, take everything with a grain of salt until it's official.
