"High School DxD", one of the most popular anime TV series in the past years is expected to return with its fourth season soon (after its manga), and that has left fans wondering what might be the plot of this season.

The popular anime TV show finished airing its third season in June 2015. Since then, viewers have been eagerly waiting for the possible release date of the fourth season, according to Kpopstarz. The storyline revolves around the life of Issei Hyoudou who ends up as the servant of Rias Gremory.

The third season of "High School DxD", covered the gradual growth of Issei from a teenager to an adult. While he dreamt of being surrounded by hot females, his wish got granted with a twist. The females, who surround him, are not humans but demons.

The third season ended with Issei being haunted by the Gremory team lead by Rias Gremory and her squad, consisting of Akeno Himejima, Asia Argento and Koneko Toujou among others, reported Yibada. Little did Issei know at the time that he is in for quite some surprise as he encountered various factions of demons, including the Gremory team over the span of three seasons.

As of now, there is no specific news about the release date of the next episode of "High School DxD". However, When Will has speculated that the series might be released in Spring 2016. Following the pattern of release dates of previous seasons, it can be anticipated that fans might have to wait at least an year before hearing about fourth season of "High School DxD".

The show first premiered in January 2012, while the second season was aired on June 2013, and the third season was broadcasted on April 2015.
