The future of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 has been reportedly shaken due to the reports that Dylan O'Brien exits the show. Fans began to theorize that there might be a delay because of the shocking news.
The actor had an accident while filming "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure," notes Teen Wolf News. While the details about the accidents remain under wraps, series exec Jeff Davis was quick to ease the viewers' worries by saying that there will be no delays in terms of airing the show on MTV.
The movie has wrapped its filming and neither the movie nor O'Brien's injury will not affect the scheduled air time of the teen-oriented TV show. "Death Cure doesn't really impact us," Davis said on Tuesday.
"Production always planned to work around Dylan's schedule and has made allowances for delays or unexpected changes." The team is yet to announce to official air date sometime soon, but he reiterated that the delay speculations are false.
"Not delayed at all. Production is right on schedule with the shoot. Lindsay (Sturman) and the writers are hammering away at scripts every day," the executive concluded.
About the focal point of the next season, he said that the show would focus on Liam, Mayson, Hayden and Corey's relationship struggles.
More than that, actress Melissa Ponzio, who plays as Melisa McCall reportedly dropped some hints as well on Twitter. "Oooooooh if set walls could talk, the #TeenWolf set would be asking "Did You Hear THAT?!?!" about tonight's scenes...#TWS6 #PlotTwist #NoWay," reads her tweet.
She must have dropped some vague details, but as Movie News Guide notes, she is trying to tell the public that the production team of "Teen Wolf" Season 7 is up to something unexpected.
