"Game of Thrones" viewers might see yet another familiar face in the latest episode on Sunday. Rumors suggest that this season might see the return of Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann) also known as "The Hound", who was left to die in Season 4 by Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

However, adding to the excitement of the mix, the role of "The Hound" doesn't end here, as rumors suggest that he might return to fight his brother Gregor Clegane (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), who is also known as "The Mountain".

Last March, Ian McShane, who was supposed to make an appearance on the HBO hit series, told BBC Breakfast  that his character "is like an ex-warrior who's become a peacenik."

"I have a group of peaceful ... sort of a cult," he continued. "I bring back a much-loved character who everybody thinks is dead."

Moreover, he also mentioned on Radio 5 Live, that a character might come back in this season. When the host of the show asked him about the returning character, and asked if it would be Hound or Jon Snow, McShane mentioned, "I think you might guess which one that is. It's not the latter. It might be the former."

While viewers have already anticipated a fight of the zombified version of the Mountain as Cersei's champions, viewers don't know anything about the High Sparrow's head of militant. However, if Faith is searching for a champion, then The Hound can be of great help.

"The hound was just a pup, six years old maybe, Gregor few years older, already a big lad, already getting a bit of a reputation," Littlefinger tells Sansa, according to Design and Trend. "Some lucky boys [are] just born with the talent of violence. One evening, Gregor found his little brother playing with a toy by the fire, Gregor's toy."

The season 6 episode 7 of "Game of Thrones" titled "The Broken Man," airs on Sunday, June 5, on HBO.
