Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the engaged couple allegedly decided to return to Colorado after staying in Denver for a few weeks because he is planning to enter the Colorado House of Representatives. This makes the webloid speculate that the couple will set aside their wedding plans to focus on his campaign.

The website added that Higgins just used the reality show to power up his influence in preparation for the election. Rumor has it the there is a site called "Ben Higgins For Colorado" with a campaign-sounding line like this: "Thank you for your support as Ben explores his opportunities to make a positive impact on his local community!"

The celebrity new outlet added that because of the campaign, the couple could have headed to splitsville. But Ben Higgins and his girlfriend are yet to address the rumors.

But aside from that, rumors about his ex-girlfriend Jojo Fletcher still being in love with is starting to spread like a wildfire on the Internet.

Notably, he was almost known as a "saint" while being the bachelor on the show until he revealed that he is in love with two girls. He chose Bushnell over Fletcher who soon became the next Bachelorette.

However, gossip abuzz that it is also one of the reasons why Higgins and Bushnell won't tie the knot anytime soon, because Fletcher allegedly told People that she is still in love with him.

"I don't think I'll ever forget the moment we broke up," she told the People (quoted via Game N Guide). "Ben was one of the greatest loves of my life. But I learned from the experience."
