Season three of "The Originals" ended with Klaus being unconscious and being put in a tomb. On the other hand, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol along with Freya, were dragged on to dreamland.

Hayley was seen taking baby Hope and along with four caskets, left New Orleans in the back of a truck. Viewers also saw Vincent giving a warning to Marcel as he was unhappy with Marcel's actions.

Season four of "The Originals" will perhaps start off from that point, but it has left fans wondering about the storyline.

It seems that Marcel has been too careful about Klaus, even though Klaus is not the antagonist in this case. However, the bond Klaus had with Marcel has been broken and there might be some reconciliation between Marcel and the Michealsons in the future.

According to some speculations, Vincent can go up against Marcel, now that the Originals are all taken care of. Vincent has a special serum, which makes him incredibly strong, and is intelligent enough to deal with Marcel. However, the executive producer of the show mentioned in an interview that Marcel might feel guilty.

"Now, Marcel is going to find himself as the most powerful creature in all the land; the werewolves are still pretty much a non-factor, the humans are down and scared, and the witches have lost their connection to the ancestors," Michael Narducci told TV Line.

"It's going to be a very different landscape, but it's still Marcel Gerard. He's done what he's done, and now he'll have to figure out how to live with himself and rule New Orleans. He's not possessed or evil or a monster by any stretch," Narducci continued.

As for Marcel's actions this season, there is no set procedure. The show will see a "mandatory" time jump and new vampires will be in New Orleans. In addition to dealing with the new vampires, Marcel will also come to known that the Michaelsons are not dead, and this might have him angry, confused or both.

As for Hayley, even she will start from scratch after leaving New Orleans. However, it is still unclear how Hayley's life will be, but she will be communicating with her family through her dreams.

Thus, the upcoming season of "The Originals" will be action packed, and viewers will have to watch out in order to know what might be in store for them.
