Update: Michael Schumacher is still recovering in Geneva Switzerland from the head injuries he sustained after the fatal skiing accident in December 2013. However, FX News Call recently claimed that Schumi's treatment money might be drying up. As the sporting champs honored seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher through a football match, his current health condition remains unknown.

Michael Schumacher's rehabilitation has taken a toll on his family in terms of financial and emotional aspects, MNG said that the 47-year-old German racing legend has accumulated more than $800 million fortune. The said wealth can be used to sustain his life as medical care treatment and expenditures continue to rise.

Will Michael Schumacher be able to fully recover? Doctors say that the chances might be slim, but there is still hope for the F1 champion racer.

Neurological and spinal surgeon Dr. Peter Hamlyn stated that the survival rate for those who suffered from head injuries are extremely low, notes Express. However, there is still hope for the lucky ones but they have to go under extensive treatment, which might cause emotional and financial distress to their families.

"What tortures the public is the same thing that tortures the family - progress is slow, progress is uncertain," the expert stated. "It's a rollercoaster and if Michael Schumacher's rollercoaster takes him and his family somewhere happy then they will have been to places that will have been pretty unhappy on the way there," referring to the racer's condition.

According to HNGN, the current weekly maintenance cost the Schumacher's treatment is around $140,000- for 15 medical professionals who are taking care of him, and also for medications and other medical expenses.

The pack is led by Dr. Jean-Francois Payen, who also did his brain operation. So far, former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo reportedly said that Michael Schumacher is "reacting," but did not elaborate further if he is reacting to conversations or to the treatment.

The 7-time F1 racer champion accidentally hit his head in a skiing accident in December 2013. He was rushed to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma. He was in the coma for six months from December 2013 until June 2014.

He had awakened from the coma. However, his true condition remains unknown due to a "media blackout."

Will the fans be able to see Michael Schumacher alive and fully recovered from the injury? Let us cross our fingers as updates may be around soon.
