‘Star Wars: Episode 8’ Spoilers: General Leia To Die In Next Movie?

Following the closing episode of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which saw Rey meet Luke Skywalker, fans have been speculating about the origins of Rey and her connection to the Force.

"Star Wars" fan Stormtrooper Larry posted an alleged leaked script of a scene between Rey and Luke from Ky10Rey - a keen follower of Star Wars Episode 8's production who has previously posted pictures on-set.

According to the leaked script, Luke speaks about the secret origins of the Jedi to Rey after he took her as an apprentice. He explains how it started, with a boy and a girl (two children), living in an unchartered planet with their parents, before the kids started developing mysterious powers while standing near a tree, reported Metro.

Moreover, one more leak provided iMDb forum users with new details from the script, addressing the death of another major character, reported iDigital Times.

Mr_Ghostface_Lives took to IMDb the summer before the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and accurately described a number of scenes from the movie. After posting several spoilers from the Episode 8 script, the leaker stuck around to answer a few questions.

"So yes, she uses the Force in Episode VIII, which I think is a phenomenally good move. It's just too bad that they're minimising her part again. She's absent for most of the movie after the opening sequence," Ghostface mentioned about General Leia's role on the movie.

However, when asked if "Star Wars: Episode 8" will see the death of General Leia, Ghostface mentioned that she might live.

"As far as I know she is in Episode IX. She doesn't die in the script for Episode VIII as it stands," Ghostface said.

It seems that the leaked rumors are right according to the film sequence, and Leia might not die actually in this episode.
