Fans of "The Walking Dead" who are trawling the net for spoilers of season 7 are perhaps concerned with one thing at this point: whose characters are facing imminent death.

Viewers were at the edge of their seats during the season 6 finale when the show's new villain, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), unleashed the wrath of his barbwire-wrapped baseball bat Lucille on an unknown victim.

TV Guide described the episode as a cliff-hanger, as viewers speculated that someone had indeed perish at the hands of Negan who has taken on a larger than life persona on the hit TV series.  

However, the million dollar question for those who are on the lookout for "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers is: who was at the receiving end of Negan's instrument of death?

Speculations are rife that Maggie Green (Lauren Cohan) may have heaved her last breath in the season 6 finale.

There are a number of reasons why many believe that the former farm girl will no longer be a part of the series' upcoming season.

First, Maggie is seriously ill due to her still unexplained complications caused by her pregnancy.

Second, Cohan has only been spotted once on the set of "The Walking Dead" season 7, which was the day of the filming of the series' premier episode wherein the upcoming death of cast members where shot.

Third, the 34-year old actress seems to be away from the show's set. In an Instagram post in May, she was pictured at the beach, which could mean that she was vacationing while her colleagues were at work.

According to Hollywood Life, it would indeed be brutal for Glenn (Steven Yeun) to witness the death of his wife and child.

Moreover, Maggie has been a key character of the show and a fan-favorite as well.

It would therefore be interesting - and shocking - to see watch next "The Walking Dead" season 7 spoilers, and finally know whose death will be mourned by fans.
