When "Samurai Jack" was finally announced, fans were thrilled for the time-hopping samurai. With the last season airing more than a decade ago, Genndy Tartakovsky will finally wrap things up in dark and gritty means. Time for some nostalgia trip and discover inspired tribues from fans.

Samurai Jack vs Shinobi Shadow Warrior

First up would be the fight scene between Jack and a ninja that Aku sent to destroy him in Season 4, Episode 1. It was Jack's nemesis' goal to outmatch his swordsmanship with stealth and cunning.

The fight was all black and white, which adds some noir-like feel, increasing the tension between the two combatants dishing out their skills with one another. Fans can expect more of this with "Samurai Jack" season 5.

Even with kids and young adults in mind, fans can't help but feel awestruck with the creative delivery of the fight scene. One YouTube user even commented that Tartakovsky was the Quentin Tarantino of animation.

Samurai Jack-The Sam-Moo-Rhai challenges Jack

"There can only be one Samurai."

In Season 4 Episode 3, Jack crosses blades with the lively, but cocky Sam-Moo-Rhai. For parts not shown in the video above, Sam-Moo-Rhai even gurgled Jack's tea, taunting the hero.

The two samurais decided to proceed with the short-lived duel outside in under the rain. Jack offered a non-fatal means of combat with the suggestion of using bamboo shoots. This was simply mocked by Sam-Moo-Rhai. Regardless, both of them ended up using bamboos after all.

The episode didn't focus too much on gore. It was as hilarious and light-hearted as it can get to be that memorable.
