Tite Kubo's 'Bleach' Manga Will Reach Its Climax In Last 2-Chapters

Vivian E.

As the end draws near for Tite Kubo's "Bleach" manga, this year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump just announced that the action-adventure-fantasy story will reach its climax in the last two chapters.

It will be featured in the colorful opening page of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump combined 36th and 37th issue, which is scheduled to be released on Aug. 8, Monday, Anime News Network reported.

Although the issue does not particularly state that the next chapter of "Bleach" will be the final one, the news outlet did point out that the world "climax," which was written in a phonetic katakana alphabet, frequently alludes to the final chapter of a manga.

In early July, the former editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump and current Vice-President for Global Shonen Jump already announced that the manga's final volume will ship this fall.

While many were disheartened about the revelation, some fans were still upbeat to follow the hotheaded teenager Ichigo Kurosaki's one-of-a-kind adventures to various ghostly realms of existence since the manga first came out on Aug. 20, 2001.

The manga entered its final arc, dubbed Quincy Arc, in February 2012. Design & Trend reported that the current and final arc of "Bleach" focuses on the war between the Quincy and the Soul Society, as well as the shocking revelation of Ichigo possessing the power of all the Quincy.

Avid fans may recall that the previous chapter of the manga shows Renji, Aizen and Ichigo went up against the Father of the Quincy, Yhwach, who possesses the designation A or The Almighty.

Considering that the next chapter 685 may be the final part of Tite Kubo's "Bleach" manga, several fans were apparently hoping that the upcoming chapter would wrap up the manga's story well.
