There has been much rumors about the "Breaking Bad" prequel, and now Bryan Cranston has spoken up about his role, possibly as Walter White/Heisenberg on AMC's "Better Call Saul" season 3.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cranston was asked if he would be interested in making a comeback as Walter White on "Better Call Saul." He mentioned that he was "all in" should the opportunity arrive.

"I owe Vince Gilligan so much. He was my champion to get this role," Cranston said.

"If they were to call me and say, 'We have this idea, we'd like...' I would say, 'Yes, you don't have to finish the pitch."

Although Cranston is "all in" to get back on the sets of "Better Call Saul," fans of "Breaking Bad" might need to wait longer for Walter White to be included in the storyline.

However, the "Trumbo" actor mentioned that he has been offered to direct an episode of the upcoming season.

"I have an opportunity to direct an episode of Saul and I'm debating whether I want to or not because I'm a fan of the show, and in order to direct I need to know what no fan knows," Cranston said.

The series showrunner and creator Vince Gilligan, however, is yet to comment on Cranston's statement about his appearance. It is rumored that he is silent to surprise the fans in the next season.

In other news, "Better Call Saul" has been nominated in the Emmy's for Outstanding Drama Series. This is the show's second nomination after 2015. Additionally, lead stars of the show Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks have also been nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Supporting Actor category, respectively.

"Better Call Saul" is scheduled to premiere in 2017, the date of which is yet to be finalised.
