Checking notifications by just swiping
According to Android Police, the "swipe for notifications" is one of the upcoming features that the Google Nexus 2016 phone would boast of.
To check for notifications, one simply swipe down his or her finger on the finger print sensor found at the back of the phone.
New color
The new device from Google is expected to come in "Electric Blue" color as well. This is reportedly the finish that each Nexus fan can anticipate with the rumored Marlin and Sailfish variants.
The New 'Flower' Home Button
Another highly-talked about rumor when it comes to the Google Nexus 2016 phone is the introduction of the new "flower" home button, which the tech site said is still "alive and well."
However, it was noted that this particular feature of the new device has been observed to "misbehave and get stuck in this 'open' animated state as it's currently implemented" at times.
Furthermore, the tech site explained that the said home button will be used to call up the Google Assistant, which was reportedly seen already when Google announced the Assistant at the I/O.
In the meantime, Android Police has finally revealed in a separate interview that the answer to the questions "how is this crazy weird new home button with the little colored dots going to work?" in Google Nexus 2016.
The site pointed out that there has already been a strong evidence proving to prove that the colorful dots have something to do with the Google Now/Assistant/whatever.
It was bared that when someone turns off the Google Now, the little colorful dots on the home button immediately disappeared all at the same time.
