NBA Trade Rumors: Cleveland Cavaliers Positive To Bring In Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins?

With the Sacramento Kings' power forward DeMarcus Cousins excellent performance at the ongoing Rio Olympic Games 2016, the latest NBA trade rumors are hinting that the Cleveland Cavaliers might opt to ink a deal with him soon.

Sports Rageous reported that the most important person that is expected to bring this deal into reality is the Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving. Reports claimed that Cousins' great partnership with Irving in the recent games is expected to be the motivation factor for the Kings' 26-year-old player to join the Cavs. The two have great chemistry on-court, which is expected to benefit the Cavaliers in the long run.

According to reports, the main reason behind the indirect Cousins trade option is because he still has few years left with the Kings. So, until and unless Cousins demands a trade from his current team, it will not be possible for the Cavaliers to ink a deal with him.

Meanwhile, there are reports that the Sacramento Kings might let go Cousins owing to his issues with the team's management. Even though earlier the team's general manager, Vlade Divac, said that they will not trade Cousins, reports claimed he is more than willing to join another potential team with a great roster.

To add on to NBA trade rumors, many reports claimed that the Cavaliers might offer their power forward Kevin Love in exchange for Cousins. Love will reportedly be a quirky addition to the Kings team as they are in the process of rebuilding their roster.

Cousins has an average of 14.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game -- an impressive record for the Cavaliers in the upcoming MBA season in order to compete with other major teams in the league like the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
