As more consumers have become health-conscious, the market for fitness watches has reportedly widened as well.

What could these wearable products from Fitbit offer to the growing market of fitness-savvy individuals?

Design

The Fitbit Blaze vs Fitbit Flex competition is also apparent in their design.

In terms of design, the Fitbit Blaze is said to be edgy as it is "striking" as well, yet it may not appeal to everyone.

As described by APC Mag, the design of the Blaze variant can be likened to the classic Casio watch wherein its edges are sharp, while its bezel is way too wide considering the fact that it is just a small device.

Though it looks bulky, it is still lightweight.

Meanwhile, the Fitbit Flex appears to be more trendy since it just wraps around your wrist and its lightweight and colorful rubber band is not just comfortable but hip as well.

Battery Life

Both fitness trackers from Fitbit can last upto five days. However, when you keep on checking your progress, the battery may drain faster.

Display

The Fitbit Blaze has an LED display that shows your progress. In fact, it is even pre-loaded with there workout guides. The downside, though, is you cannot add more workout routines in your fitness tracker.

The Fitbit Flex, on the other hand, as noted by Tech Radar, is compose of two separate parts.

The first part is the sensor which features five LED lights that indicate the number of steps that its user has done for a particular period.

Verdict

APC Mag pointed out that the Fitbit Blaze is "a fairly restricted device with more potential than it actually delivers" as it needs a "more open API" which can give it wider options to be personalized.

The Tech Radar, in the meantime, stated that the major frustration for Fitbit Flex users is the limited number of devices where it works.

In conclusion, if you only need something to track your progress, the Fitbit Flex will already suffice, but if you want something that can guide you in certain exercise routines, then opt for the Fitbit Blaze.
