The South Korean technology giant Samsung recently launched the 2016 edition of the Galaxy A9 Pro phone with many excellent specs like huge display, greater storage, better camera functions, and huge battery. Reports claimed that the device is capable of giving a tough competition to the latest Galaxy Note 7 phone and can also be stated as one of the best Samsung devices till date.

To start with, the latest device from the technology giant sports a stylish design with pure metal and glass chassis. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 version also features a 6-inch screen with full HD Super AMOLED display and1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

The Star reported that the device excels in terms of performance-related specs with a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card.

Furthermore, the new Galaxy Pro A9 also consists of a huge non-removable Li-Ion 5,000 mAh battery, which provides you with long lasting battery life. The phone also features fast charging support via microUSB v2.0, reported GMS Arena.

As far as the camera specs are concerned, the Samsung device sports a 16-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with better low-light performance, reported PC-Tablet. The additional features of the Galaxy device's camera are geo-tagging, face detection, a touch focus, panorama, and HDR.

The Samsung phone consists of a 3.5mm audio jack with active noise cancellation functionality. It also features a fingerprint scanner for added security measures. In terms of software specs, the Galaxy A9 Pro runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and consists of applications like the Doze app and the Android Pay option.

Moreover, the Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 is reported to be available in a black, white, or gold color options. It has been priced for RM1, 999 or $500.
