Samsung Galaxy Note 7 vs Google Nexus 6P Review: Which One Should You Buy?
Dheeraj ROur Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Google Nexus 6P comparison has revealed which of the two devices is the best for you. In order to help you to make a sound decision, we have listed down the specs and features of the recently launched Samsung device and the Google phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports a dual-curved-edge screen along with a metallic chassis and a glass panel at the back, whereas the Nexus 6P consists of a total aluminum body. On the other hand, both the devices feature a 5.7-inch screen along with Super AMOLED display and Quad HD 1,440 x 2,560 resolutions. The only difference is that the Note 7 provides you with more pop color display whereas the Nexus 6P yields more realistic color tones.
In terms of performance-related specs, the Nexus 6P is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3 GB RAM with internal storage of 32 GB, 64 GB or 128GB. The Galaxy Note 7 comes with the latest Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor, depending on your region, along with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
The Google phone features a 12-megapixel rear and 8-meagpixel front camera as compared to Not 7's 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. Both the devices also consist of additional features like the laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. However, the Galaxy device also sports an optical image stabilization additional specification for better picture quality.
The Note 7 also has an Iris Scanner along with a fingerprint sensor for added security measures. Meanwhile, the Google Nexus 6P only features a fingerprint scanner. In terms of battery specs, the Samsung device excels with 3,500 mAh battery as compared to the Nexus' 3,450 mAh battery which provides less power support.
Both the phones sport the same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, which is expected to soon receive an Android 7.0 Nougat update.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 consists of many creative tools like the S Pen stylus, which can be used to create doodles, GIFs, and edit documents. It is also stated to feature Knox software and Secure Folders option to help you keep the private information safe.
To sum up, if you are after a more powerful smartphone, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can be the better option for you. However, if you are not that picky with specs and you are after a steady handset for daily activites, then the Google Nexus 6P will suffice.
