The highly-anticipated "American Horror Story" season 6 will premiere this month. For the pas several weeks, a series of teaser trailers have been released by FX Network to further increase the hype among its fans. However, the real theme of the horror anthology has not been finally revealed, which is of course very big deal for fans.

Reports claim that FX CEO John Landgraf confirmed that there have been numbers of teasers for sixth installment but only one of them is the real deal. His statement made it for fans to figure out the next theme for the show.

"We decided, [series creator Ryan Murphy] and I and [marketing president] Stephanie Gibbons, that it would be really fun this year to keep it a mystery," he said.

"There is a theme and a setting and a place and time, but we're not going to reveal it," he further teased.

However, since FX is still continuously revealing different teasers for the "American Horror Story" season 6, some fans believed that the leaked title, "American Horror Story: The Mist" will the next installment's original theme.

This was after Rotten Tomatoes purposely or accidentally leaked this season's title. Eventually, the site's info for the season 6 was taken down.

Needless to say, nothing has been confirmed by FX yet except the airing date of the "American Horror Story" season 6 which is on Wednesday, September 14.

Meanwhile, reports confirmed that this season will be graced by another Academy Award-winning actor, Cuba Gooding Jr.

"We are officially connected at the hip like Siamese twins in terms of my creative life," Gooding said in an interview with ABC News. "When Ryan calls you and says, 'Hey can you do this? Would you like to do that?' It's an immediate yes, no matter what it is. That's what I felt when I first met him and now, going on two years later. It's just been an honor - it's been a treat."

Though, the 48-year-old actor admitted he was not a fan of the show, he said will binge-watch all the previous horror stories for his upcoming role and even added that the "American Horror Story" was the "brilliance that is that Murpy brand.
