The filming of the much awaited "Outlander" season 3 is ongoing and a lot of potential spoilers are coming out.

Just recently, "Outlander" showrunner Ronald Moore has answered some questions on Twitter from fans about the upcoming movie while attending a San Francisco Giants baseball game.

"Off to a great start. Almost finished with block one," said Moore as he was asked about how the season 3 filming for Outlander is going so far.

Moore also said that he wrote the first episode for the upcoming installment.

Fans are also wondering if Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will have a reunion. The writer teased that the lovers will definitely see each other as the season 2 ended with Jamie pushing Claire to go back through the stones to her first husband, Frank, before the Battle of Culloden.

In addition, the showrunner confirmed that "Outlander" season 3 will definitely show more sexy scenes.

Moreover, Sony Pictures Television has announced that John Bell (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) and Will Johnson (Waking the Dead) are joining the series.

John Bell is set to take on the role of Young Murray while Wil Johnson will play Joe Abernathy.

"Young Ian Murray is a tall, gangly Scottish lad with a heart of gold, a stubborn streak and a penchant for getting into trouble. Bursting with charm, he's more like his adventurous, fierce uncle Jamie Fraser than his farmer father Ian -- but when we meet him, he is still a very gawky boy," as described by Starz "However, he keeps trying to prove that he is a man and we will see him grow into quite a formidable one as the series evolves."

"Joe Abernathy is a fellow doctor-in-training whom Claire befriends in medical school. Intelligent, charismatic, with a wry and irreverent sense of humor, Joe is a loyal confidant with great affection for Claire," the source added "He puts on a good face, but he is all too aware of his place in the Civil Rights era. Joe and Claire both feel out of place in the mostly all-white, all-male medical field, which bonds them together in a life-long friendship."

"Outlander" season 3 is said to premiere in 2017.
