NBA Trade Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks Sending Greg Monroe To Charlotte Hornets?

According to the latest trade rumors, the Milwaukee Bucks might sign a deal with the Charlotte Hornets before the start of the new season, wherein the Bucks' power forward Greg Monroe might go to the Hornets in exchange for shooting guard Jeremy Lamb and power forward Spencer Hawes.

It was reported that the Milwaukee Bucks are in the process of rebuilding their team and they consider Monroe as a misfit. It is stated that the Monroe is currently unable to produce desired scores and numbers for the Bucks, which is rumored to have led to the trade rumors.

It is stated that the Bucks are in currently in need of a shooting guard and the trade with Hornets is expected to help them achieve their goal. Reports claimed that bringing in Lamb and Hawes onto their roster will help the team to improve their offensive and defensive gameplay in the new season.

In order to seal the deal with the Hornets, the Bucks are also expected to trade point guard Michael Carter-Williams and power forward John Henson.

According to ESPN Trade machine, the Hornets will also benefit from the trade scenario. Reports claimed that the Hornets acquired Marco Belinelli in the offseason, which has prompted them to trade Lamb before the start of the new season as the team cannot afford to continue with two shooting guards.

Reports suggested that adding Monroe will help the Hornets to utilize his strong defensive skills in favor of the team's gameplay development. It is expected that Monroe will aid in putting up high scores on the board and thus raise Hornets rank in the NBA league.

Despite, Milwaukee Bucks keen interest to trade Monroe before the start of the next season, there is still no official confirmation from the team. Also, even the Hornets have not commented anything on the rumored trade scenario.
