MacBook Air vs Razer Blade Stealth Review: Can Razer Blade Stealth Take Away the MacBook Air Market? Specs & Features

The current trend when it comes to laptops is to have thinner even designs with absolutely powerful and efficient components. With innovative technologies such as fanless designs and Core i-series processors, many competitors are able to provide the systems having these features. One of the best laptops of 2016 has been the Razer Blade Stealth and we thought of checking it out against the 2015 MacBook Air.

For classification purposes, while the Apple MacBook Air is All-purpose laptop, Razer Blade Stealth is categorized as the Ultrabook type. From the physical perspective, the Razer Blade Stealth is a thinner, taller and wider laptop than the Apple MacBook Air. However, it weighs more than the MacBook Air model as per Cnet. Many feel that portability is better with Apple MacBook Air.

Looking at the display, MacBook Air has a larger display than the Razer Blade Stealth. However, the Razer Blade Stealth has the better image clarity and a better screen resolution among the two. Also, unlike the MacBook Air, Razer Blade Stealth supports Touch screen. Apple's MacBook Air has wireless display capability, a feature not present in the Razer Blade Stealth.

When it comes to hardware, the Razer Blade Stealth has faster CPU speeds than the 2015 MacBook Air.  While Razer Blade Stealth runs on Windows Operating system, the MacBook Air makes use of the OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

Razer Blade Stealth has more RAM capacity than the MacBook Air. Razer Blade Stealth has memory card reader, unlike Apple's MacBook Air.

The battery is one of the areas, that the Apple MacBook Air totally outperforms the Razer Blade Stealth.

Tech Times runs a report stating the Razer Blade Stealth is receiving some big upgrades. With MacBook Air yet to receive any upgrades, the Razer Blade Stealth could take some of the MacBook Air's market. MacBook Air is still one of the best portable laptops in the market today. But with newer and thinner laptops such as Razer Blade Stealth with powerful specs coming in, the competition has just gained the big momentum it needed.
