"The Young and the Restless" actor Steve Burton, who played Dylan MacAvoy, will be leaving the series soon when his contract expires this December.

In his official Twitter account, Burton revealed that before he made up his mind, he spent a lot of time reflecting.

"Hey everyone, with lots of reflection, I have decided to move on from @YandR_CBS at the end of my contract in December. I've had an amazing time, but it feels right to move on to new adventures in my life," he tweeted.

"2/2 time, but it feels right to move on to new adventures in my life. I can't say enough about the AWESOME cast and crew. Much respect!" he continued "3/3 Much luv to @CBSDaytime for the great ride. Great peeps. And thank YOU all for your support. Always! #positivityrules."

It was reported that Burton's exit from "The Young and the Restless" may be a perfect timing for the revelation of Sully's real father.

Meanwhile, certain spoilers teased that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will offer Sharon (Sharon Case) some advice since she is under pressure because Patty (Stacy Haiduk) demands to be out of her place.

Mariah will force Sharon to tell the truth about Sully's real father as she insists that it is the only solution. However, Sharon is not willing to consider it an option.

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers, said that Sharon has an alternative plan. She will make Patty believe that she can help her escape by suggesting to Patty to act liked troubled so she can be moved to a different facility.

The plan is to convince Patty that she can escape from the transport van but in real, she will only be placed to a facility with a stricter security.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday to Friday on CBS.
