With the new NBA season around the corner, the latest trade rumors hinted that the Sacramento Kings might send their power forward DeMarcus Cousins to the Boston Celtics for their point guard Marcus Smart and power forward Amir Johnson.

Sports Rageous reported that the Sacramento Kings are keen on trading Cousins in order to further improve their roster. It is also stated the Kings are looking forward to replacing the 26-year old player before the start of the upcoming NBA season due to his behavioral issues and problems with the team's management.

Reports suggested that the deal will prove to be beneficial for the Boston Celtics. According to the trade rumors, Cousins will provide the Celtics with excellent offensive skills, which will help them to further enhance their gameplay.

It is expected that DeMarcus Cousins will be teamed up with Celtics power forward Al Horford and point guard Isaiah Thomas, which will help the team to improve their defensive and offensive gameplay and thus provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

On the other hand, reports hinted that adding Smart and Johnson will help the Sacramento Kings to enhance their defensive gameplay and put up high scores on the board in the upcoming season. It is rumored that Smart will provide support to point guard Ty Lawson while Johnson will be paired with Kings small forward Rudy Gay.

Meanwhile, The Bottom Line reported that Sacramento Kings might even ink a deal with the Phoenix Suns before the start of the new season. The main reason behind this is stated that the Suns are currently in need of a talented player and Cousins is expected to be the perfect fit to help the team become one of the high-ranked teams in the Western Conference.

However, none of the teams have officially commented on the rumored Cousins trade scenario. Keep posted here till then for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
