The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Boston Celtics and the Sacramento Kings might enter a trade deal before the start of the new season. The Celtics will reportedly trade their 2016 NBA draft pick and small forward Jaylen Brown and some future draft picks in exchange for the Kings' power forward DeMarcus Cousins.

Hall of Fame Magazine reported that the Boston Celtics are still in the process of rebuilding their roster because of the recent acquisition of power forward Al Horford in the offseason. Reports suggested that the Celtics are planning to bring in Cousins in order to form a deadly duo in the frontcourt and thus help the team to become one of the top contenders for this year's NBA title.

Besides, few reports stated that the Celtics might also team up Cousins with point guard Isaiah Thomas along with Horford. The trade rumors suggested that the trio will help the Boston Celtics to take on other teams in the Eastern Conference like the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls.

On the other hand, The Bottom Line reported that even the Sacramento Kings are in the process of restructuring their team to gear up for the new season. Also, they are purportedly planning to trade Cousins because of his attitude problems and issues with the team's management. It is stated that adding Brown will help the King to make their roster younger and also aid them to put up high scores on the board.

Also, Brown is touted to provide the Kings with excellent defensive skills, which will help the team to recover from the void created by Cousins departure. However, none of the teams have officially commented on the Jaylen Brown and DeMarcus Cousins trade scenario.
