The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs might enter a deal before the start of the new season for the Spurs' power forward LaMarcus Aldridge in exchange for the Suns' point guard Brandon Knight.

Morning News USA reported that the Phoenix Suns are in the process of improving their roster and Aldridge is expected to be the perfect fit for the team. Reports claimed that the Spurs' power forward will provide the Suns with excellent defensive skills and thus help them to provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

Besides, it is stated that the Suns are keen on trading one of their players in the frontcourt like Knight, point guard Eric Bledsoe and shooting guard Devin Booker. However, reports hinted that Knight has high chances to be the one getting traded before the trade deadline.

On the other hand, even the San Antonio Spurs team is reportedly looking for the best deal option in exchange for Aldridge. Nevertheless, few reports claimed that the Spurs might give Aldridge another chance if he improves his performance before the upcoming February trade deadline.

Reports suggested that the 31-year-old player failed to help the Spurs to improve their performance in the league matches, which has paved the way for his rumored trade to the Phoenix Suns for Brandon Knight.  It is stated that Knight will provide the Spurs with excellent offensive skills and thus help the team to address their issues in the backcourt and put up high scores on the board.

However, neither the Phoenix Suns nor the San Antonio Spurs has officially commented on the possible rumored trade scenario of LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Knight. So, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Till then stay tuned for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
