‘Winds Of Winter’ In Proofreading Phase, Set To Be Released On January 2017? George R.R Martin’s Novel To Feature Bloodier Plot?
Kirsten KaneAvid Fans are very much thrilled about the release of "The Winds of Winter" novel.
Previously, it has been reported that fans are going to wait much longer since the sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series might get delayed and might debut in the year 2018 because of the author George R.R Martin's hectic schedule.
It has also been said before that "The Winds of Winter" might be cancelled because the writer has lost the manuscript. This however, is still not yet confirmed.
Latest reports suggest that the most anticipated novel is going to be the last book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series and will be released after the "Games of Thrones" Season 7 finale.
Rumors are rife that George R.R Martin is already weary and tired of writing which made him decide to end the book series.
The "Game of Thrones" creator has once admitted that his age is one of the reasons of the delay.
"The Winds of Winter' is not finished," he said. "You can blame my age, and maybe that had an impact too...but if truth be told, sometimes the writing goes well and sometimes it doesn't, and that was true for me even when I was in my 20s."
Since the sixth book is going to be the last, fans can assume that "The Winds of Winter" will have a bloody storyline with a number of deaths and wars to be featured.
It has also been speculated that Martin chose to end the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series through "The Wind of Winter" because of various foul rumors surrounding the novel.
Moreover, some reports state "The Winds of Winter" might possibly be released on January 2017 since the book is now on its proofreading stage.
However, there were also reports surfacing on the internet that "The Winds of Winter" is delayed again which made fans decide to boycott HBO's "Game of Thrones."
Martin has yet to officially announce the release date of "The Winds of Winter" and has yet to give official statement on the recent rumors and speculations.
