With the NBA season about to begin, trade rumors hinted that the Cleveland Cavaliers are still keen on further enhancing their roster, eyeing the Sacramento Kings' power forward DeMarcus Cousins to make their team stronger in the league.

Sports Rageous reported that the Cavaliers want to bring in the Kings' key player onto their roster to retain their championship status and defend their NBA title. It is stated that Cousins will provide the team with excellent offensive and defensive skills, which will help them put up high scores on the board.

It is also stated that the 26-year-old player might be teamed up with Cavaliers' frontcourt key players like small forward LeBron James, J.R. Smith and point guard Kyrie Irving to form a deadly combo of players and thus help the team to win this year's NBA title.

In order to seal the deal with the Kings, the Cleveland Cavaliers is expected to trade their power forward Kevin Love along with few first round NBA Draft picks to the Sacramento team.

On the other hand, it is stated that even the Sacramento Kings are in the process of rebuilding their roster. Adding Kevin Love is expected to help the Kings to provide a boost to their frontcourt skills and thus emerge as a strong contender in the Western Conference league.

Besides, the trade rumors hinted that Love might be teamed up with Kings' key lineup including small forward Rudy Gay and point guard Darren Collison and thus fill the void created by the departure of Cousins.

To add on to that, the ESPN trade checker has also suggested that the rumored Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings trade scenario involving Love and Cousins will prove beneficial to both the teams. However, none of the teams has officially commented as of now.
