With the NBA season around the corner, the latest trade rumors hinted that the Los Angeles Lakers might trade their point guard D'Angelo Russell to the Washington Wizards in exchange for John Wall.

It was reported that the Lakers are looking forward to dealing Russell before the trade deadline in order to further enhance their roster, and thus, rebuild their team. Adding Wall in their team will reportedly help the Lakers improve their frontcourt gameplay.

It is stated that Wall will provide the Lakers with excellent offensive skills, which will help the team to put up high scores on the board. According to the trade rumors, Wall will be teamed up with Lakers top players like small forward Nick Young, Brandon Ingram and point guard Jordan Clarkson, which is expected to help the team become one of the strong contenders of the NBA league.

Should the trade take place with the Washington Wizards, few reports hinted that the Lakers will also trade their power forward Julius Randle and point guard José Calderon along with D'Angelo Russell in order to seal the deal.

On the other hand, other reports claimed that it is not clear whether the Wizards will be ready to accept the Lakers' offer for trading their top player John Wall. Nevertheless, the trade rumors hinted that the Wizards are in the process of rebuilding their roster, and adding Russell and Calderon will help them to achieve their goal.

However, there is still no official word from either of the teams about the rumored trade scenario involving D'Angelo Russell and John Wall. So, as of now these rumors should be considered with a grain of salt.

Stay tuned for more updates and NBA trade rumors on Russell, Wall, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Washington Wizards as it is expected that the respective teams might make their move before this season's trade deadline.
