The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Toronto Raptors are eyeing the Philadelphia 76ers power forward and center Nerlens Noel in exchange for their shooting guard Terrence Ross.

Sports Rageous reported that the Toronto Raptors are planning to rebuild their roster and are currently in need of a talented power forward.  Reports suggested that adding Noel will help the Raptors to achieve its goals as he will be the perfect player to fill the void created by the departure of Bismack Biyombo to the Orlando Magic this offseason.

It is stated that Noel will provide the team with excellent on-court defensive skills that will aid the Raptors to become one of the strongest contenders in the league. NBA trade rumors also suggested that the 22-year-old player is expected to be teamed up with the Raptors' center Jonas Valanciunas, which will help the team to enhance their offensive gameplay.

On the other hand, other reports claimed that even the Philadelphia 76ers might think of trading Noel before the deadline in order to vacate their overcrowded frontcourt. Should the deal with the Toronto Raptors come into existence, the 76ers are expected to receive Raptors' shooting guard Terrence Ross.
