The South Korean company is taking the Android smartphone market by storm with its new flagship LG V20. It is rumored to be the best phone from LG, while Asus has also launched a powerful phone Zenfone 3. Here is a quick comparison of the two.

The V20 is an enormous phone with no app drawer by default and a bland appearance. The new LG V20  features 5.7 inch IPS Gorilla Glass 4 display with 2560 x 1440 resolution and 513ppi pixel density. It also comes with a secondaty 2.1 inch display, which is called as notification bar by LG.

Comparing to that, Zenfone 3 boasts single display with 5.5-inch full HD screen and 1920x1080 pixel (401 ppi pixel density) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

LG V20 runs on the lates Android 7.0 Nougat OS. However, Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL)  runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).

Game lovers will love both LG V20 with Adreno 530 GPU and Zenfone 3 having Adreno 506 GPU.

LG V20 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core Kryo processor clocking at 2.15 GHz. However, Zenfone lags far behind with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 2.0GHz Quad core processor.

LG offers 32 GB and 64 GB inbuilt storage with 4GB of RAM in both models. It offers microSD card support up to 256GB. Whereas, Zenfone 3 comes with 32GB and 64GB model in-built storage having 3GB RAM and 4 GB RAM respectively. It uses SIM 2 slot for microSD expandable up to 256 GB.

Zenfone 3 features a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, and a 8MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

While LG V20  contains dual rear-facing cameras: 16 MP (29mm, f/1.8) and 8 MP (12mm, f/2.4) /w laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash and 5MP front-snapper with ƒ / 1.9 aperture.

The V20 comes with removable 3,200 mAh battery while Asus Zenfone have none-removable 3,000mAh battery.

The price of the LG V20 is higher than the Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL), and its worth looking at the high-end specifiations. The former is priced at Rs.40000, where as the latter is at Rs. 19999. For buyers looking for a better selfie camera and processor at a budget price, the Zenfone 3 is a good bet to buy.
