The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Cleveland Cavaliers might enter a deal with the New York Knicks before the trade deadline for their small forward Carmelo Anthony in exchange for Kevin Love.

It is stated that adding Anthony will provide the Cleveland Cavaliers with excellent on-court offensive skills. Also, reports claimed that the 32-year-old player has an average of 24.9 points per game, and 6.6 rotations per game in his entire career, which is expected to help the Cavaliers to put up high scores on the board.

Anthony himself is reportedly demanding a trade from the New York Knicks' because of the team's current average performance in the season. Nevertheless, there is still no update on the same as of now. The NBA trade rumors suggested that Anthony is eyeing a championship win and the Cavaliers team is rumored to provide him with the chance to achieve his goal.

Furthermore, Morning Ledger reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers star power forward LeBron James is in favor of adding Carmelo Anthony to the roster in order to maintain their dominance in the Eastern Conference.   It is stated that James is friends off the court with Anthony and is looking forward to playing with him in the NBA season.
