'Pokémon Sun and Moon News': Day One Cheats Might Happen, Here Are The Things To Watch Out For

While it's still just a few more stretch before "Pokémon Sun and Moon" finally releases, cheats might easily make its way in the scene almost as instant as the game's release date. Players should be wary with these shady scenarios.

As Kotaku have recently posted, a cheating problem with "Pokémon Sun and Moon" might just be waiting to happen as the game releases. This involves fake pokémon spreading out within Wonder Trade.

For the newcomers who will be introduced in the world of pokémon games, Wonder Trade lets players technically trade with another player via randomized rules. This also involves earning Poké Miles as well as triggering trade evolutions. This feature is usually a post game thing as players would, most of the time, prefer beating the Elites first.

There are some imposed limitations with Wonder Trade, which makes the suspicious pokémon stick out like sore thumbs. It would be advisable to learn the mechanics of Wonder Trade and be vigilant with any weird instances of trades.

This is expertly done with a meticulous program known to veteran series fans as "PKHeX." Simply put, this software's purpose is altering the save games and injecting fake pokémon in them. This tool has been used and abused by some users for their pokémon game saves and it may surprise some that it is already armed to be working with "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

Screenshots like this and this already indicate that a cheating problem is bound to happen even with the latest game, "Pokémon Sun and Moon." This would usually involve starters that aren't normally possible to come by, rare ones, equally rare items and just plain obvious buffed up stats, abilities and moves.

There's no telling how this will be resolved by GameFreaks, but as Kotaku advises, if something is too good to be true then it is. "Pokémon Sun and Moon" is, by no means, not an exception to this.
